The final piece written for my most recent short film project. This piece was by far my favorite.
The final (sort of) version of my book soundtrack piece for The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It’s a little rough in areas and please, oh please, forgive the sound of Finale instruments.
Also— the beginning might sound a tad strange. I used the throw bow technique for the violins on D and A and flutes to play airy notes up and down. Most other wind instruments will be blowing air through their instrument and clacking the keys. It doesn’t sound quite right on Finale!
Comments/feedback are always appreciated!
My newest piece, an adaptation of an Albanian folk song of the same title found in “Botsford Collection of Folk songs” c. 1933
Apologies for the awkwardness towards the end, it’s hard to play.
Sweet, ah how sweet— the month of that May
When we two walked the high mountain way
And stopped beside the spring that whispered there;
Dost thou recall how happy we were?
(I think that it’s called Sa i bukur muaji i majit in Albanian. Not sure.)
My newest piece for solo piano.
“Through the Wall”
Titled as such because I feel like a broke through a huge writer’s block and this piece felt to me like it was somehow situated in a fantasy. The recording is pretty rough, excuse the mistakes!
Piano Concerto I: “Winter”
Here is the final finale recording of my concerto. It may be worked on in the future, I plan on it definitely during the summer, but for now this is what I’ve written!
"Rilke Lieder: Begegnung in der Kastanieallee"
The Reel Piece
— used in a Campbell Mithun ad
This is the newest recording of my piece “Nausea”, inspired by Jean-Paul Sarte’s book. It is one of my most favorite pieces I’ve ever worked on.
